Considerazioni sui vari tipi di piastre

#1 Post by JaX »

Ho appena letto sul sito di Apex
http://www.apexsnowboard.com/apex-kessler-gecko-plates/
Alcune interessanti considerazioni fatte da Mark Fawcett http://www.markfawcett.com/
Che nel riassunto finale dice:
Step One
SL Board: No plate
GS Board: Butterfly Risers (Geko Plates, Kessler e aggiungo io Carvers Plates)

Step Two
SL Board: Butterfly Risers (Geko Plates, Kessler e aggiungo io Carvers Plates)
GS Board: Semi-Isolation Plate (Vist)

Step Three
SL Board: Semi-Isolation Plate (Vist)
GS Board: Full Isolation Plate (Apex, SG, Bomber)

Every rider is different and your mileage may vary. Speak to your coach, assess your abilities and try to demo equipment before buying. And of course, training, conditioning, solid technique and coaching win out over equipment every time. Make sure you take care of the fundamentals before looking to "buy" a winning ride.

Mine
It works fine, weight close to normal binding and it gives nice dampening.
Height 7mm higher and weight slightly more than normal binding only.
Stance adjustmentt on 1cm steps and angle from 50-65 degrees, which is what i need :)

Good news.
We had good experience with the splitted one and we had designed one more or less as your and we want to test the difference to decide which works better.
What hardness of the dumper you use?
Are them all the same?

79A, sometimes with slighty harder 85A on corners.
My main reason for built was to have light system for slalom board.
