Best on Bomber plate is that you can move plate to another board just opening 2 screws.
And if you have board side mechs on another board then it is very rapid thing.
Very efficient.
Cons is that on Bomber and Donek mechs are very much designed for US style high stance, ( no probs for me due i like that
)
Bomber mechs is very solid and simple. Some like theur new softer plates but lerned to ride with original 5mm plate

I have been using Bomber Plate 5mm since 2010 and it works very well.pokkis wrote:Best on Bomber plate is that you can move plate to another board just opening 2 screws.

My binding stance is 50cm
Speaking with Justin Reiter in Scuol during the Camp he said: Bomber Plate is fantastic in freecarving!!.....so we ride in freecarving every times so.....Bomber is the best!!!

Pretty much like me
i got mine in Feb 2011 when they sold it out with public with UPM.
After that sold mine both Donek ones due Bomber worked like charm
Simplest and cleanest one for free carving where i used it for most of time.
Only issue for me have been 30mm steps with axle placement changnges and 4cm instead 2cm insert distance on plate.
So no major.

Re: APEX V2-Installation/washers
Can't agree more with regards of Boiler Plate's simplicity and convenience...the Apex is a royal pain in the a*** to setup and put in/take out BUT I tried them both back to back and the Apex just worked so much better *for me*...I think the different core and the lower hardware stack did the trick...I'm not bashing Fin's products, they are all great and engineered wonderfully, it just didn't work for me as well as the Apex. Maybe I'll try the new Boiler Plate ("V2") at SES and change my mind
