Introducing the Gecko Plate
Apex Sport and Kessler Engineering are pleased to announce the all new, patent pending Gecko Plate.
The Gecko is a snowboard riser plate like no other. Besides offering more heel and toe snow clearance, the Gecko Plate increases and distributes edge pressure, absorbs chatter and reduces the binding footprint on the snowboard. With 60% less footprint, the deadspot created by bindings and hard plastic risers is virtually eliminated. The snowboard carves freely as your builder intended.
Interchangeable dampening pads and asymmetrical setup options allow the rider to personalize the Gecko to his or her personal riding style and binding setup.
All this in a slick, lightweight carbon fiber package.
Three different versions of the Gecko are available. Each one is designed for specific board shapes and riding style.
Carve: for hardboot racers and carvers
Cross: for hard charging snowboardcross racers and aggressive freeriders
Free: for all softbooters and banked slalom

Interchangeable Bumpers to Tune Your Ride
Urethane pads deliver power to the edge of the snowboard and distribute pressure along a greater distance. The snowboard flexes in a more natural and predictable manner.
At the same time, by controlling the density of the Bumper Pads and the stiffness of the carbon fiber deck, the Gecko Plate absorbs chatter and vibration, without compromising snow feel, offering a less tiring ride. An important factor on a long race day.
The best part? You can swap out the bumpers for harder or softer pads for more response or more dampening – without having to remove your bindings or plate.
Asymmetrical Setup
The Gecko Plate system is composed of four individual plates that are independently placed on your snowboard.
The toeside plate can be placed forward of the heel to match your binding angle. This allows for more efficient delivery of pressure from the most powerful part of your foot to the edge of the snowboard.
